Our 2008-2009 special on New Old Stock microphone cable was so well received that we were encouraged to search for other remaining product from the old Austrian factory. We located several thousand feet of black DGS-1 Unbalanced Cable that bears the “Made In Austria” markings, It boasts a soft, flexible black PVC jacket with that unique feel from the pre-RoHS manufacturing process. A good quality unbalanced cable with a single Reussen wire shield at a price that is way less than current DGS stock! Perfect for inexpensive guitar cords, instrument cables, hi-fi interconnects. unbalanced patch cables and other DIY projects.

The roll size is 328 feet but we will also sell it in 100 foot cut lengths. $ 0.25 per foot in full rolls / $ 0.29 per foot for the 100 foot cut lengths. As of mid- January 2012, we have seven rolls left at this special price. All the rest of the stock in being set aside for use in our low-priced VIENNA instrument cable assemblies, being introduced in 2012.

GAC-2 SPECIALS (continuing)

GAC-2 is a highly flexible mic cable with a velvet matte PVC jacket that is non-reflecting and neutral in appearance. Of course, it features Gotham’s finely stranded conductors and double Reussen shielding. The 0.21” Outer Diameter is an ideal match for popular XLR connectors.

Our four year sell-off of New Old Stock GAC-3 in a very flexible heavy duty jacket
( 5.8mm) version is now ended. This vintage earthy BROWN cable was the last GAC-3 still available that was produced at the original Gotham cable factory— Dorfler Kablewerk in Austria. Although it was manufactured prior to 2000 it has earned consistent praise from recent users as a cable of the absolutely highest quality, with that unique pre-RoHS feel and finish. We started with 30,000 feet and sold the last bulk stock on February 11, 2011. The assemblies made with this cable sold out in August 2011, except for for handful in some very short lengths. lengths.

*GAC-3 in Colors- THE SALE CONTINUES FOR ITS THIRD YEAR….

Our best selling GAC-3 cable, the classic three conductor design long associated with Neumann microphones, is currently produced in classic grey and black. But prior to 2005 it was also available in green, yellow, white, blue and red. We have used these colors of GAC-3 in microphone cable assemblies for several years.

The final production run of the colors had a minor glitch that allowed for oxidation of the outer shield on some of the cables. When present, the oxidation slows our assembly process a bit, but aside from this inconvenience, all these cables perform superbly. We have sold hundreds of these cable assemblies without any complaints. Recently we are able to obtain additional stocks of green, white and yellow cable at a discounted price and we are offering 20 foot assemblies with Neutrik black shell, gold pin XLR’s at the excellent price of $ 27.00 each. These are currently available in Green, Yellow, Red, White and Blue ( quantities of some colors are limited : only a handful of Blue are left and Red is running low ).
