The Gotham 10206 GAC‑2/foil FRNC is a professional-grade 3.0 mm foil‑shielded balanced audio installation cable engineered for reliable signal transmission in metal-rich and fire-sensitive environments. It features finely stranded tinned copper conductors (7 × 0.20 mm, approx. 0.22 mm²) insulated with PVC (Ø 1.1 mm) and twisted in a black-and-red pair. Beneath the rugged FRNC (flame-retardant, halogen-free) PVC jacket lies an aluminum–polyester foil shield bonded directly to the jacket and an integrated 7 × 0.20 mm tinned copper drain wire. With conductor resistance below 85 Ω/km, shielding resistance under 65 Ω/km, and capacitance less than 75 nF/km between conductors (and 141 nF/km to shield), it ensures clean, low-loss audio performance. Rated to withstand 500 V conductor-to-conductor and 1,500 V conductor-to-shield during testing, it operates flexibly between –5 °C and +50 °C (expanding to –30 °C to +70 °C in fixed installations), making it ideal for professional studio wiring, rack-mount systems, and installation scenarios where safety and durability are paramount.
