The Gotham 10306 GAC‑2/1 FRNC is a professional-grade 3.5 mm double-shielded balanced audio installation cable designed for high-performance analog signal transmission in safety-critical environments. It features finely stranded bare copper conductors (25 × 0.10 mm, approx. 0.20 mm²) with foam-skin polyethylene insulation (Ø 1.15 mm), color-coded red and white. The cable is protected by dual Reussen-style bare copper braid shields wound in opposite directions, ensuring full 100 % coverage and excellent noise rejection. All components are housed in a rugged, halogen-free, flame-retardant (FRNC) grey outer jacket with a 3.5 mm diameter. With conductor resistance under 90 Ω/km, shield resistance below 20 Ω/km, capacitance below 70 nF/km between conductors (and under 130 nF/km to shield), and a characteristic impedance of 145 Ω at 20 kHz, it delivers clean, accurate signal transmission. Tested to withstand 500 V conductor-to-conductor and 2,000 V conductor-to-shield, and flexible between –5 °C and +50 °C (down to –30 °C in fixed installs), it’s ideal for professional rack wiring and permanent installations where fire safety and signal integrity are essential.
