The Gotham 10550 GAC‑2/11 is a professional-grade 4.5 mm double-shielded balanced audio cable designed for rugged, high-performance analog signal transmission. It features finely stranded bare copper conductors (approx. 0.19 mm²) insulated with foam-skin polyethylene and separated by a central PVC tube to maintain structural integrity. Encased beneath a rugged jacket, the cable incorporates dual 100 % bare copper braid shields—wound in opposing directions—for superior interference rejection and microphonic resistance. With conductor resistance typically under 90 Ω/km, shielding resistance below 20 Ω/km, and capacitance around 86 nF/km between conductors (and under 146 nF/km conductor-to-shield), it preserves signal clarity and fidelity. Rated for 500 V conductor-to-conductor and 2,000 V conductor-to-shield test voltages, and flexible between –5 °C and +50 °C (extendable to –30 °C to +70 °C in fixed installations), it delivers reliable performance in demanding stage, road, and installation applications.
