The Gotham 10561 GAC‑2 Ultra Pro is a professional-grade 8.0 mm double-shielded balanced audio cable engineered for uncompromising performance in both analog and AES/EBU digital applications. It features two low-capacitance, oxygen-free bare copper conductors (64 × 0.10 mm, approx. 0.50 mm²) with foam-skin polyethylene insulation (2.0 mm Ø), each individually shielded with a Reussen-style copper braid and aluminum-coated polyester foil. These dual channels are then collectively protected by a second layer of dual Reussen-style copper braiding, ensuring full 100 % coverage and superior noise rejection. Housed in a rugged, matte-black PVC jacket, the cable offers exceptional durability and flexibility. With a conductor resistance of 39 Ω/km, shield resistance under 28 Ω/km, capacitance of ≤ 50 nF/km between conductors (and ≤ 135 nF/km to shield), and a precise characteristic impedance of 110 Ω, it delivers outstanding signal integrity across a wide frequency range. Rated for test voltages up to 2,000 V and operable between –5 °C and +50 °C (–30 °C to +70 °C in fixed installations), this cable is ideal for critical studio, live, and broadcast environments requiring both analog and digital reliability.
