The Gotham 10630 DMX‑1 is a professional-grade 3.6 mm star-quad “Twinax” cable engineered for uncompromising AES/EBU digital audio and DMX transmission. It features two finely stranded tinned LFOC copper conductors (19 × 0.10 mm, ~0.15 mm²), foam-skin polyethylene insulated (Ø 1.15 mm), and arranged in a star-quad twist to maintain consistent conductor spacing—even when bent—ensuring stable 110 Ω impedance. Dual layers of bare copper Reussen-style braid shields (100 % coverage) surround the core, reinforced with a viscose fiber layer beneath a flexible black PVC jacket (Ø 3.2 mm), providing excellent flexibility and noise rejection. With conductor resistance under 115 Ω/km, shielding resistance below 35 Ω/km, attenuation under 3 dB/km at 1 MHz, and capacitance below 50 nF/km, it delivers clean, jitter-free digital signal transmission over long runs. Rated for 500 V conductor-to-conductor and 2,000 V conductor-to-shield test voltages, and flexible from –5 °C to +50 °C (–30 °C to +70 °C when fixed), it’s ideal for studio, broadcast, theater, and installation use where durable, high-integrity digital data wiring is essential.
