The Gotham 10640 GAC‑2/mini AES FRNC is a professional-grade compact balanced installation cable engineered for high-performance AES/EBU digital (and DMX) signal transmission in safety-critical or space-constrained settings. It employs a star-quad “Twinax” core of finely stranded conductors, ensuring ultra-stable 110 Ω characteristic impedance even when bent. Encased beneath a flame-retardant, halogen-free (FRNC) PVC jacket, the cable is fortified with dual layers of Reussen-style braid shielding and a PVC foil for full coverage and electromagnetic noise rejection. With conductor resistance and attenuation optimized for digital clarity, and certified for 500 V conductor-to-conductor and 2,000 V conductor-to-shield test voltages, it operates flexibly from –5 °C to +50 °C (extending to –30 °C to +70 °C when fixed). Exceptionally durable yet compact, it’s ideal for mini AES/EBU digital snakes, rack wiring, broadcast installations, and wherever reliable, jitter-free connectivity meets stringent safety standards
