The Gotham 106861 DMX is a professional-grade 3.6 mm star-quad balanced cable engineered for high-performance DMX512 signal transmission and DC power delivery in lighting control systems. It features four finely stranded, tinned copper conductors arranged in a star-quad configuration (each conductor approximately 0.15 mm²), maintaining consistent spacing and a precise 110 Ω impedance—even when flexed. This core is protected by dual layers of Reussen-style bare copper braid and a wrapped foil shield, delivering full 100% coverage and exceptional rejection of electromagnetic interference. The cable is encased in a flexible PVC jacket, offering durability and ease of installation. With low conductor resistance and optimized capacitance for DMX data integrity, it supports reliable, jitter-free control over long runs. Rated for test voltages up to 500 V conductor-to-conductor and 2,000 V conductor-to-shield and operable between –5 °C and +50 °C (extending to –30 °C to +70 °C in fixed installations), it’s the ideal choice for professional stage, broadcast, and architectural lighting applications where signal accuracy and durability are critical.
