Product Description
Product Description
The Gotham 11288 GAC‑4/1 v1 FRNC is a professional-grade 4.7 mm Star‑Quad microphone cable engineered for superior RF immunity and fire-safe performance. It features four finely stranded bare copper conductors arranged in a precision star-quad geometry with low-capacitance polyethylene insulation, ensuring consistent conductor spacing and reduced signal loss. The core is wrapped with a viscose fiber layer and shielded by dual Reussen-style bare copper braids, providing full 100% coverage and RF rejection beyond 130 dB at 25 kHz. All of this is enclosed in a halogen-free, flame-retardant (FRNC) white jacket that offers both flexibility and installation safety. With conductor resistance under 90 Ω/km, shielding resistance below 28 Ω/km, and capacitance under 55 nF/km between conductors (and under 103 nF/km conductor-to-shield), it delivers clear, consistent audio over long distances. Rated for test voltages up to 500 V between conductors and 2,000 V to shield, and operable between –5 °C and +50 °C in flexing use (–30 °C to +70 °C when fixed), this cable is ideal for professional stage, studio, broadcast, and installation environments where both fire safety and uncompromised signal integrity are critical.
This cable is ideal for: XLR, TRS, and other balanced audio connectors - especially in installation environments where fire resistance is paramount.
