ULTRA PRO BALANCED AUDIO CABLE WITH INDIVIDUALLY SHIELDED CONDUCTOR WIRES - 5X SHIELDING & INSULATION
Product Description
Product Description
The Gotham 11301 GAC‑4/1 Ultra Pro is a professional-grade 8.8 mm star‑quad microphone cable engineered for superior RF rejection, durability, and uncompromised audio performance. It features four finely stranded bare LCOF copper conductors (64 × 0.10 mm each, approx. 0.50 mm²) with low-capacitance cellular polyethylene insulation (~2.0 mm Ø), arranged in a precision star‑quad geometry to halve signal loss and maintain a stable 110 Ω impedance. Each conductor is individually shielded with a lap-style Reussen copper braid and aluminum-coated polyester foil, then the entire core is enclosed by a second Reussen-style braid with full 100 % coverage—creating a total of five shielding layers with RF rejection over 130 dB at 25 kHz. This robust construction is wrapped in an ultraflexible, velvet-matte PVC jacket (marine blue, 8.8 mm Ø), suitable for professional touring and studio use. With conductor resistance ≤ 39 Ω/km, shield resistance < 28 Ω/km, capacitance ≤ 50 nF/km between conductors (and ≤ 103 nF/km to shield), and side-circuit capacitance of 55 pF/m (quad 135 pF/m), it ensures clean, articulate audio over long runs. Rated for 500 V test between conductors and 2,000 V to shield, and flexible from –5 °C to +50 °C (–30 °C to +70 °C when fixed), it delivers uncompromised performance in demanding stage, broadcast, and installation environment
This cable is ideal for: XLR, TRS, and other balanced audio connectors.
