Product Description
Product Description
The Gotham 20101 GAC‑7 Tube is a professional-grade, 6.2 mm seven-conductor cable specifically designed for tube and stereo microphones. It features two larger power conductors (each 0.50 mm², stranded 252 × 0.05 mm) for heater supply, plus five compact signal/control conductors (each 0.14 mm², stranded 72 × 0.05 mm), all insulated in PE and wrapped together with viscose fiber for mechanical stability. The core is protected by a double Reussen-style bare copper shield—both layers offering 100% coverage—under a flexible grey PVC jacket. With conductor resistances under 30 Ω/km for the power lines and under 110 Ω/km for the smaller cores, capacitance below 90 nF/km between conductors and 160 nF/km to shield, and test voltages rated at 500 V conductor-to-conductor and 2,000 V conductor-to-shield, it delivers low-noise, high-fidelity performance. Rated to flex between –5 °C and +50 °C (and –30 °C to +70 °C when fixed), it offers superb flexibility and durability—ideal for high-end tube mic applications requiring both power and pristine audio in a single, reliable cable.
This cable is made for 7-pin tube mic connections.
